This Privacy Notice describes the information collection, use, retention and sharing practices of Solara Ocean LLC (“Solara”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and its affiliates and subsidiaries when you interact with us through our website, www.solaraocean.com (the “Website”), or other digital products on which this Privacy Notice appears (collectively, the “Services”).

As used in this Privacy Notice, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular person.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT, WHY, HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION AND FOR HOW LONG

We may collect personal information as you engage with our Services.

We are based in the U.S. and process data in compliance with U.S. law.

If you are a partner, this includes when you:

Request a Call. When you request a call, we collect, from you, your personal identifiers (name, email address, telephone number), property details, or other information you choose to share in your message. and the selected solution(s) you are interested in. We use this information to schedule your call, and to provide additional information regarding the solution(s) you are interested in.

If you are a website visitor, this includes when you:

• Contact us. When you contact us, we collect, from you, your personal identifiers (name, phone number and email address) property details, or other information you choose to share in your message. We use this information to respond to your questions or inquiries and to troubleshoot where necessary.

• Sign up for email communication. When you sign up for emails on our Website, we collect, from you, your personal identifiers (name, email address). We use this information to send you periodic updates about new services, newsletters, to send you marketing communications and promotional offers related to our services, to analyze website traffic and improve user experience, and to provide additional information. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect moving forward by clicking the “unsubscribe” link included with each email. Our emails contain tracking technologies, to analyze whether a predefined action took place by a recipient, such as opening our emails and other engagement metrics such as timestamps, delivery status, click rate (of links within an email), bounce rate, and reply rate. We also use these metrics to better adapt and distribute our emails, as well as to identify top engaged email recipients. When you sign up to receive emails on our website, you will be automatically opted-in to the use of these technologies.

If you are a guest:

• In addition to the information described above, we also collect information directly from guests who book or stay at a property managed by Solara Ocean LLC. This may include your full name, email address, phone number, physical address, payment information, booking dates, number of guests, and any special requests or preferences related to your stay and other information you choose to share. We use this information to process reservations, manage check-ins and check-outs, coordinate cleaning and maintenance services, and ensure a safe and enjoyable guest experience.

Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device type, and usage patterns.

Cookies: Our site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels and tags) to improve your browsing experience, analyze website traffic, personalize content, and understand how users interact with our emails and Services. Cookies help us remember your preferences and improve the functionality of our Website. You can manage cookies at any time through your browser settings. If you choose to disable cookies, some features of the Website may not function properly. Our marketing emails also include tracking technologies that allow us to understand engagement, such as whether an email was opened, link click rates, delivery status, and related metrics. These tools help us measure the effectiveness of our communications and improve user experience

DO NOT TRACK

We do not respond to Do Not Track requests. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites and mobile applications that you do not want to be tracked. You can enable or disable Do Not Track by visiting the Preferences or Settings page of your web browser.

INTERACT WITH US ON SOCIAL MEDIA

• Interact with us on social media. When you interact with our social media pages on social networking websites, such as Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube (each a “Social Media Page” and collectively, “Social Media Pages”), we collect basic engagement metrics and use it to tailor content and marketing and use it to improve user experience as set forth in this section. Please note that we do not control the use or storage of the information that you have posted to any social networking websites. This information is collected and processed by the social networking websites for their own purposes, including marketing.

Your interactions with social media platforms are also governed by the privacy policies of those platforms, which we do not control. For more information on how Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube use your personal information, we encourage you to visit their Social Media Privacy Policy Pages.

Solara Ocean LLC will also use the personal information we collect as described in this section to comply with the law, to efficiently maintain our business, and for other limited circumstances as described in HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

DATA RETENTION

Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Notice, we retain your personal information (i) for as long you maintain an account with us, (ii) until we no longer need your information to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, or (iii) until we receive a valid request to delete the information, in which case we will delete or anonymize the information within thirty (30) days after receiving the request. However, we may need to use and retain your personal information for longer than the periods indicated above for purposes of:

• Meeting our safety and security commitments. For example, keeping our properties secure and preventing fraud.

• Exercising or defending legal claims. We also may need to retain personal information for longer than the periods indicated above in order to respond to legal process or enforceable governmental requests, or to enforce our contracts or Terms of Use including investigation of potential violations.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell or share your personal information. Solara Ocean LLC shares personal information in the following instances:

• Email marketing platforms (e.g., GMASS) for the purpose of sending newsletters or promotional emails.

• Service providers who assist in operating our website and communications (such as hosting, analytics, or CRM tools).

• Information shared with Property Owners and Service Providers - As part of our property management operations, we may share limited guest information (such as name, booking dates, and special requests) with property owners and third-party vendors, including cleaning, maintenance, or concierge service providers. These parties are contractually required to handle such data only for the purpose of fulfilling their assigned services and to maintain confidentiality and data protection standards consistent with this Privacy Notice.

• International Guests and Data Transfers - If you are visiting from outside the United States, please note that your personal information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. While privacy laws in the U.S. may differ from those in your country of residence, Solara Ocean LLC applies safeguards designed to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

• Third-Party Booking Platforms - If you reserve a property managed by Solara Ocean LLC through third-party booking platforms such as Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo or other third-party platforms, please note that these platforms collect and process your personal information according to their own privacy policies. Solara Ocean LLC receives only the information necessary to manage your booking and communicate with you regarding your stay. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any platform you use to make a reservation.

• For legal purposes. We share personal information where we are legally required to do so, such as in response to court orders, subpoenas, governmental/regulatory bodies, law enforcement or legal process, including for national security purposes. We may share your information with our legal advisors or auditors to establish, protect, or exercise our legal rights or as required to enforce our terms of service or other contracts or to defend against legal claims or demands. We also share this information with third parties as necessary to: detect, investigate, prevent, or take action against illegal activities, fraud, or situations involving potential threats to the rights, property, or personal safety of any person; to comply with the requirements of any applicable law; or to comply with our legal obligations.

• With your consent. Apart from the reasons identified above, we may request your permission to share your personal information for a specific purpose. We will notify you and request consent before you provide the personal information or before the personal information you have already provided is shared for such purpose. You may revoke your consent at any time with effect moving forward and may do so by contacting us via email at info@solaraocean.com.

RIGHTS OF CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

The California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA”) entitle California residents to certain rights. However, since Solana Ocean LLC earns under $25 million in revenue and does not meet the other thresholds for CCPA compliance, we are currently exempt from full CCPA requirements:

• Right to Access/Know. You have the right to request what personal information we have collected.

• Right to Deletion. You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information that we collect or maintain, subject to certain exceptions. For example, if we are required by law to retain the information that you are asking to be deleted, we would not be able to delete the information until we are legally permitted to delete it.

• Right to Correct. You have the right to correct inaccurate personal information that we collect or maintain.

• Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information. You have the right to limit the use of your sensitive personal information when such use goes beyond that which is necessary for providing the Services or certain other permissible purposes like fraud, customer service or quality control. Sensitive information includes Social Security number, driver’s license number, biometric information, precise geolocation, and racial and ethnic origin. However, Solara Ocean LLC does not process personal information in a manner that gives rise to this right.

For requests submitted via telephone, you must provide us with sufficient information that allows us to reasonably verify you are the person about whom we collected the personal information and describe your request with sufficient detail to allow us to properly evaluate and respond to it. In doing so, we will take steps to verify your request by matching information provided by you with the information we have in our records, including, for example, information on your resume. If we are not able to verify your identity for access and deletion requests with the information provided, we may ask you for additional pieces of information.

Only you, or a person that you authorize to act on your behalf may make a request related to your personal information. If you are an authorized agent making a request on behalf of another individual, you must provide us with signed documentation that you are authorized to act on behalf of that individual.

INFORMATION SECURITY

Solara Ocean LLC implements reasonable security measures to protect your personal information. However, no security measure or modality of data transmission is 100% secure, and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the personal information we have collected from you. In the event of a data breach, we will notify affected individuals as required by applicable law.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 15. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY NOTICE

We may amend this Privacy Notice in our sole discretion at any time. If we do, we will post the changes to this page and will indicate the date the changes go into effect. We encourage you to review our Privacy Notice to stay informed. If we make changes that materially affect your privacy rights, we will notify you by prominent posting on the Website and/or via email, and obtain your consent, if required.
